This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding payments made to Hochstedler Building & Development ("Company", "we", "our", or "us") for services rendered. Our website payment system is designed solely as a means for clients to pay invoices for work that has already been completed or is in progress.
 

Payment for Services

  • We issue invoices to clients for building and development services that have been performed or are currently in progress.

  • Our online payment system is provided as a convenience for our clients to pay these invoices securely.

  • All payments are for specific services as detailed in the client's invoice, contract, or agreement.
     

No Returns or Physical Goods

  • We do not sell or ship physical goods through our website.

  • Our services are non-tangible professional building and development services.

  • As such, traditional "return" policies do not apply to our business model.
     

Refund Eligibility and Process

Service Disputes

  • If you believe there is an error in your invoice or are unsatisfied with services performed, please contact us immediately at (319) 631-8072 or kevin@builtbyhbd.com.

  • All service disputes must be submitted within 14 calendar days of receiving the invoice.

  • We will review all disputes on a case-by-case basis and work with you to resolve any issues.
     

Payment Errors

  • If you believe you have made a payment in error (wrong amount, duplicate payment, etc.), please contact us immediately.

  • Provide documentation of the error, including payment confirmation, invoice number, and explanation of the issue.

  • Payment error claims should be submitted within 7 calendar days of the payment date.
     

Refund Processing

  • If a refund is approved, we will process it through the same payment method used for the original transaction when possible.

  • Refunds may take 5-10 business days to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution's policies.

  • We reserve the right to issue refunds in the form of credit toward future services when appropriate and agreed upon by both parties.
     

Partial Completion of Services

  • For projects in progress where partial payment has been made, refunds will be considered based on the percentage of work completed and materials already purchased.

  • Any refund amount will be determined according to the terms in your specific contract or agreement.
     

Cancellation of Services

  • Cancellation terms for ongoing projects are outlined in your individual contract or service agreement.

  • Deposits and payments for design work, permits, or materials already purchased are typically non-refundable.
     

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy periodically. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy regularly.
